Your first day
A short tour, your first check-in, and the link worth sharing before you do anything else.
The nav, once
- Dashboard — the numbers, and your booking link.
- Front desk — check a customer in. This is the screen that lives open on the counter tablet.
- Jobs — today's queue and every past visit.
- Appointments — the calendar of scheduled visits.
- Customers — the people who have been in.
- Shop — Services, Staff, Settings and Billing, grouped together because you visit them rarely.
- Feedback — tell us what is broken or missing.
What you see depends on your role. A barber does not see the Shop group at all. Roles and what each one can do has the full table.
Set your hours before you share anything
Your shop opens 09:00–19:00 every day until you say otherwise. If that is wrong, it is wrong on your booking page too — customers will be offered times you are closed.
Shop → Settings → Weekly hours. Two minutes, and it is the single highest-value thing to do on day one. See Opening hours and time zone.
Share your booking link
On the dashboard, under Your booking page, there is a link and a Copy link button.
Put it where customers already look: your Instagram bio, your Google Business profile, a WhatsApp away message, a QR code taped by the mirror. This is the part of BarberNexa that works while you are cutting.
Your public booking page covers what customers see.
Your first check-in
Open Front desk:
- Choose Walk-in if you do not need their details, or New customer to save a name and phone.
- Add the services they are having.
- Tap Check in.
You get a turn number on screen. That is the whole flow. Check in a walk-in covers the options you just skipped past.
At the end of the day
Open the dashboard. Revenue, Completed visits, Latest turn and Upcoming appointments for today, and a chart of revenue by hour.
Those numbers only count visits you marked Complete. A visit left sitting at "Checked in" is not revenue — which is also how you spot the ticket somebody forgot to close.
Do not try to set everything up before you open. Hours, one service and your booking link are enough to run a real day. Photos, staff schedules and per-barber services are better decided after a week of actual use.
