Language and switching shops

Three languages, and one account that can belong to several shops.

Changing your language

The language switcher is in the top bar of the app, and in the header and footer of the public pages.

Three languages: English, Spanish (Latin America) and French (Canada).

Your choice is remembered on that browser and applies to everything you see. It is per person and per device, not per shop — you can work in Spanish while a colleague at the same counter works in French.

Your customers have their own language

This is the part worth understanding.

Your booking page follows your customer, not you. A visitor whose browser is set to French sees it in French, whatever language you use in the app. So does the confirmation email they get, and the rating request afterwards.

You do not configure this and there is nothing to translate. It follows the person reading it.

What is not translated is anything you typed: service names, descriptions, your shop name, notes on a visit. Those appear exactly as you wrote them, in every language. If you serve a genuinely bilingual clientele, it is worth naming services in a way that reads in both.

One account, several shops

An account is a person. The same email can belong to more than one shop — your own, and one you were invited to — with a different role in each.

The shop switcher in the top bar shows the shop you are in. When you belong to more than one, switching changes everything at once: the dashboard, the queue, the calendar, the customers, the services and what you are allowed to see.

There is no way to view two shops at the same time, and nothing crosses between them. A customer of one shop is not a customer of the other; a service in one is not a service in the other. Each shop's data is entirely its own.

Which shop you land in

The one you were in last. If you have never switched, the first shop you belong to.

If the numbers look wrong, check which shop you are actually in before anything else. It is the first thing to rule out, and it takes a glance at the top bar.

Joining another shop

Only by invitation. Somebody who runs the other shop invites your email address, and you accept from the link. Creating a second account is not how it works, and doing so will only give you two accounts to keep track of.

See Invite your team for the sending side, and Create your account for accepting one.

Opening a shop of your own

Working at one shop doesn't stop you from running your own. Choose + Create a new shop at the bottom of the shop switcher, or under Your shops on your profile. You go through the same setup as any new owner: name and country, services, then a plan.

The new shop is entirely yours. You are its owner, it has its own plan and its own billing, and your role at the shop you work for doesn't change. If you stop halfway, Back to the app takes you back to your other shop. The unfinished one stays in the switcher, and picking it picks up the setup where you left it.

Leaving a shop

There is no self-removal. An owner or manager of that shop deactivates your membership, which removes your access while keeping your name on the work you did.
